Comments
Comments: Mt. Tecumseh Trail is snow/ice free up to about 3,600 feet, where there is an insignificant patch. Some mud and running water this morning from last night's weather.

At the crook sign summit loop junction, I recommend doing an out-and-back via the Sosman Trail (left). The Mt. Tecumseh Trail (right) side has a stretch of ice monorail just prior to the summit that will require light traction to descend for the next couple of days (please don't tramp around off to the side of the trail, as this permanently damages the micro vegetation, resulting in trail creep and then unmitigated erosion).

Very insignificant patches of ice on the Sosman Trail near the summit and on the way to the ski area.

Lift construction is paused on the upper portion of the ski area for awhile, so there is reasonable access to the gravel access road from the High Country. The gravel access road currently avoids the lift construction.

I do not recommend descending the lower ski trails (i.e. the view spur) because this route will lead you into an active construction zone.

Humid start to the day with temperatures in the upper 50s to 60s. As the fog burned off, the air lightened up and bit and temperatures hit 80 by mid-afternoon down low.
