Comments
Comments: I had never hiked this trail before and was extremely satisfied with what it had to offer. Nancy Pond is a very easy trail, with the only exception being the switchback section up the cascade. The trail was wet in a lot of places, mostly above the cascade and around Nancy and Norcross ponds, but mud was kept to a minimum. I only had to step in snow two times total, and both patches looked as though they will be gone in a few days. The beginning of the bushwhack was easy to locate and the herd path leading up to the summit was a breeze to follow. The path is tight in spots and steep in many places but not hard to navigate. Great views from the summit area as well. Microspikes are definitely not necessary at this point.
