First crossing on Bondcliff I needed to meander upstream a hundred of feet or so to where the brook narrows and throw some dead wood over to cross. Other crossings had easy to find rock hops. |

| Comments: |
Overnight storm did little to change conditions from last report.
Barebooted entire out and back. Virtually no snow or monorail until the last hundred yards (or thereabouts) below Bond summit. Cruised at a fair pace considering the runoff from the overnight storm that had to be dealt with.
From Bond to West Bond expect snow covered trail for the majority and a monorail that will hold you for 9 out of 10 steps when you need to walk on top. Lots of post holing when required to walk on it. Capable for a fair amount to walk with shoulders in the spruces on the edge of the trail and find solid ground. FWIW almost entirely dirty spring snow. No more than a few feet of sporadic ice today. A bit more warm weather until trail runners come out of the closet. |
