Comments
Comments: From TRUMPET ROUND ROAD parking spot, we ascended YELLOW TRAIL, then headed south on YELLOW/BLUE, then quickly picked up BLUE (northwest, not the BLUE that went southwest), picked up RED TRAIL heading south to reach summit of COLE HILL and sign in the register, continued south on RED TRAIL to YELLOW TRAIL (south) to go to the high point of COOLEY HILL then to the FIRE TOWER SITE. Return/Desent via YELLOW TRAIL to YELLOW LEDGE TRAIL (bypassing RED TRAIL/COLE HILL), then east on BLUE (yellow/blue to blue) back to the parking spot. *Side note: off the BLUE TRAIL not far from the YELLOW/BLUE Trails junction- there is a beautiful viewpoint- and at this viewpoint, slight off trail in the distance is a very interesting ScareCrow Lady and tiny fairy houses (one is housing a miniature Olaf lol). Some other interesting wooden "treasures" to see on the descent (BLUE TRAIL)... won't spoil the surprise LOL ;-) VERY NICE HIKE!
