Water was high and fast. Only way across was through the river carefully. Brought water shoes for this. |

Many blowdowns on the top of Owls Head that requires minor detours. A few others along the way that could be passed over or under. |

Great hike. River is running high and fast right now. If I was solo, I would have turned back rather than cross it repeatedly. The rest of the hike was pleasant and unremarkable. Brutus Bushwhack was a much easier way to get off the mountain and it was dry. The slide was great for going up and getting a view. |
