Comments
Comments: Took the loop CC, which was a very wise decision. It was hot but we had enough tree coverage up the Old Path that the heat was bearable ascending. Views to Washington from South Doublehead were magnificent. We could see the snowpack melting ;) heading over the North Doublehead we had a little less shade but it’s a short fun uphill. And very very dry along the ridge. Every once in awhile there was a light breeze. As we descended the Ski Trail the full heat of the sun could be felt all the way down. We saw a few people heading up this way and it didn’t look fun. All in all, a good day and excellent ice cream weather.
