||M-Spikes are helpful going up and down. Various spots so keep them handy Ridge is clear on ice/snow. MonoRail was mostly solid. Careful on the edges. Beautiful day. Zero Wind... Calm and peaceful. Story of the Hike: Ran into young man who was back for a return trip after suffering frostbite the last time up back in February. He seemed very proud of his finger nail-less fingers with obvious tissue damage. Yet during this ordeal he somehow managed to take video of himself with frostbit hands at the top of Little Haystack.... at night! |
I'm keeping my finger nails.
