Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Spring maintenance of Scaur Ridge Trail complete. 41 drainages cleared, one blowdown removed, and we've started to open up an old side-ditch that's filled with a large birch tree and boulder. Trail is extremely dry. Leaves were being mulched as I cleared them. Snow above the 3100 foot mark in shaded areas. There is a collection of trees about 50 feet from the junction with Pine Bend Brook Trail that are coming down. They're quite high up, so you can pass below them safely for now. Forest Service is informed.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Great trail for doggos
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies and mosquitos are coming out, but not yet biting.
