Parking lot close to full on Saturday AM. There were half-dozen small groups out, even on this marginal day. |

Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Standing/Running Water on Trail |

Technically, no water crossings on the Starr King Trail, but the section between Starr King and Waumbek was at times just a great big puddle. |

| Comments: |
Very wet. Hiked up to Starr King on sat 10/1, then down on sun 10/2. Rained pretty much the entire time, making the descent on wet leaves and mud slippery in spots. |
