A few flying insects above treeline as well as some spiders. One snake sunning itself on the Jewell Trail. |

| Comments: |
Mt. Clay is a worthy objective even if it is not an official 4K. Great day to be above treeline, temps from 35 to 80, clear and sunny and breezy while on the summit of Mt. Clay. Saw 7 hikers on Jewell Trail when I was descending. |
