Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Shoes off for 2nd crossing of Crawford Brook on way up. On way out both crossings up higher but shoes couldn't get any wetter so just walked through. Rock crossing at this time may have been difficult to find.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Sign for Avalon Tr. at A-Z jct. missing, only mounting bracket there. A-Z sign is there however. 50-100 ft. of trail between brook crossings on Avalon Tr. is part of brook now.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Water shouldn't be an issue any time soon. Good loop for dogs.

Comments
Comments: Wet trails. Much of Willey Range and Avalon was running or standing water. Very limited views today. Looks like Irene rerouted part of Crawford Brook onto trail for 50-100 ft.. Fun watching waterbars at work today. Beecher Cascade quite impressive near end of hike.
