| Water Crossing Notes: |
All rock hoppable except the big one which had some submerged rocks. I used water shoes with poles and had no problem. Three others did not and said all of them fell in. It's flowing pretty strong. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
About 1-1/2 dozen walk overs on North Twin Trail. No real effort needed to pass and other trails are pretty clear. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
None. |
|
| Bugs: |
None going up in the morning but some on the herd path and North Twin trail on the way out. Not the usual pests and they didn't bother me but here it comes. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
I made a little detour on the way home and got the glove I lost on Jefferson last week which was found by a hiker and on the bench at Crawford Connector where he had left it. Thank you. |

A cloudless day with great views for this hike. Mostly dry trail down below and a nice hard pack going up to North Twin. I barebooted to the summit the put traction until I hit bare ground at the bottom of North Twin Mtn on the way out. A pretty hard center over to South and down to Galehead hut but not as apparent as North Twin trail and Galehead which led to some postholing. It was good to talk with a trio of hikers one of which got her 26th 48 today. |
