Use the spur trail from the trailhead to cross the brook at the road bridge. Others are managable. |

Amazing day for a hike. This loop is in great shape overall. Patches of consolidated snow/ice above 2600' but avoidable, then full snow/ice from the Smart's Brook intersection to Sandwich Dome. Highly recommend spikes for this section, at least for the downhill trip. Not needed otherwise. |
