We did Hedgehog first and rounded out our hiking day with this spicy little mountain. It starts off pretty mellow and chill, and then you hit the water crossing. I am not the *biggest* fan of water crossings but I took a deep breath and accessed the situation. Walking up the river just a bit I found a rock hopping puzzle that seemed safe. With the sweatiest of pitties, I elegantly made my way across unscathed. Although I thought about the impending water crossing back to the car….spoiler alert - it was fine. Anyhoooooo, the trail is clear and well maintained. All of a sudden it turns into this gorgeous hike with rock slabs, roots and rocks. The views on the top were just lovely. We ran into a bunch of people and dogs - all friendly. ?? |
