Few flies at afternoon return to base. |

| Comments: |
First mile and a half were alternating dry and mud.From there, mainly icy monorail to summit of Starr King. Beautiful view and great weather for break at summit. Mile to Waumbek was mainly packed snow, with occasional ice. Microspikes were perfect.
