| Comments: |
First half mile mostly bare then put on spikes. Started late afternoon so ice sections had plenty of bite for spikes. Once turn left off the ski trail primarily snow that was still mostly solid for us. No postholing. Exposed sections mostly snow free. A couple hikers with no/suboptimal traction turned around in lower section. Traction definitely needed to summit. |
