Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Two water crossings on Cascade Brook are v high at the moment. My dog is a pretty seasoned hiker but struggled with the first bc the rock spacing was pretty far and he's not a fan of swimming. Manageable for humans to cross if you are comfortable jumping 3-4 ft gaps or taking off shoes to wade through.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns but easy to manage
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Depending on your dogs confidence with water crossings, may be a bit challenging to cross. Otherwise fine trail.
Bugs
Bugs: None
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a small micro fiber towel.

Comments
Comments: Overall trail in good condition and easy to manage other than the water crossings. Monorail present for much of the Cascade Brook trail but very manageable. A bit of potholing at the top near lonesome lake. Trail down to Lafayette campground has slippery ice but manageable without spikes, and all snow is gone below the zig zag in the trail.
