Saw my first mosquito towards the bottom of the trail :( |

Bare boots for about the first mile, spikes the rest of the way up and to Eisenhower. While spikes and bareboots were possible would highly recommend snowshoes as drifts were deep and postholing was common between Pierce up to Eisenhower |
