Beautiful day on Mt. Hayes! Carried microspikes but never used them (would still recommend having them at this point in the season in case of freezing). Typical spring conditions with mud, patchy remnants of a monorail, and surprisingly slippery leaves. Our group went up Centennial and down Mahoosuc, but I doubled back down Centennial to get the car. Beautiful views of Washington snow-capped from the storm this week. |
