Comments
Comments: Finally checked out the bootleg trail that popped up off Old Mountain Erode a few years ago. The footing is not great (follows a rocky old road and goes through a few recent logging cuts). It bumps into the Brooks Fisher Trail about 0.3 mile up from the parking lot. A few murky areas.

Brook Fisher Switchback Trail was mostly dry and tedious (one of the switchbacks is so tight that you can almost touch hands for either segment).

Crawford Ridgepole from there to Mt. Livermore was mostly dry. Trailing arbutus in bloom.

We doubled back on Crawford Ridgepole to take the short herd path around the top of Old Mountain Erode and discovered an unmarked mountain bike trail that led back to the bootleg trail. Trillium getting ready to pop.

Beautiful afternoon with mostly sunny skies and temperatures hitting 70. Only encountered two other hikers.
