Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Saturday, April 30, 2022
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The lot was accessible. Make sure your parking break works if you're parking on the right. That incline made me nervous.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Mud - Significant, Slush
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes:
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I saw several happy puppers.
Bugs
Bugs: A few.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: This trailhead has a covered lost and found box. It was full of hats etc. One purple hat with a big bobble. There was one microspike (black, not red; spikes, not spirals).

Comments
Comments: The trail was manageable mud and rocks until about 1.6 miles in, after which it was worthwhile to switch to microspikes. I do not think snowshoes would be worth the trouble and weight of carrying them.
