Comments: Rocky Branch, Engine Hill Bushwack, Isolation (east), Iso express bushwack, Davis Trail

Sorry for posting this a day late but this should get out here. Wild and fun Friday evening out on Isolation. Snow starts on Rocky branch at around 2500ft. Don't follow our tracks lower down on engine hill. We were led astray by a fellow ahead of us. Postholes throughout, and dangerous territory with snow melting and streams underneath. Stay high or stick to rocky branch. Crossed the river and made our way up Iso Express, trying to follow a semblance of previous hikers through the new snow. We didn't do great, and fought and postholed our way up to Davis. Snowshoes are mandatory. Davis is heavily drifted and extremely soft. Many postholes here. We took Isolation east on our way back, and broke trail back to the Iso Express start. Very soft snow, lots of postholes into icy water below. Cut the corner at rocky branch and made our way back on rocky branch.
