| Comments: |
The dry trail, with some short stretches of mud, became snow/ice-covered shortly below the upper brook crossing. There were some longish sections of ice on the stairmaster that softened in the sun but hikers without spikes were struggling there. Cover transitioned to mostly packed snow higher up.
Great day hiking with Nancy, Myrl, Renee and Barb, with Nancy summitting the peak for the 100th time. Lots of happy, friendly people out today. |
