Saw one skittish creature that proceeded to slip out of her collar while dad was trying to hold her. No leash of course. |

Barebooted the first half mile or so then donned the spikes. Left them on all the way back to the lot. Could've used snowshoes above the backcountry ski area for a better pace, but they weren't necessary. Someone abandoned the summit trail about halfway around and went up through one of the reforestation areas. We broke the rest of the actual trail to where it meets Hi Cannon. Maybe 5" or so of new packable powder. Only ran into a few people. Great day in the mountains. |
