Comments
Comments: below the dam 19 mile has considerable washout and erosion damage. there is one washed out section shortly before the carter dome trail junction as well, but most of it is focused lower on the trail. the second bridge in from the parking lot is half of its former self and currently has some make shift boards completing the crossing. nineteen mile brook has changed up its main flow just before the road and now winds away from the trail before turning back to go under the bridge rather than running straight past the trail. pretty impressive. the couple of log bridges at the start of the upper half of the trail are there though one looks to have been replaced very recently. the rest of the trail is in good shape. a little mud and wet in spots.

wildcat ridge trail is in fine condition and is receiving some tlc from the amc trail crew on its ascent from the notch to a peak. some nice footbed work is being done as well as some brushing. the usual section from b-d peaks could still stand to be brushed out a bit. the ski trails were in good shape.

nice day. good temps and a light breeze the whole hike. great to be out.
