| Lost and Found: |
Found a camera lens buried in the snow & ice on the trail. It appears to have been there a long time, and unfortunately water has found its way between the lens groups. Not sure if it can be saved. Send me identifying information, such as Brand, focal length, filter thread diameter, (and any other info such as serial #?), and I'll mail it to you. |

| Comments: |
Frozen granular starts at around 2700' and has only a few short bare sections early on. Microspikes were adequate from there to both summits. There was some bare rock on the summits, but not enough to bother removing traction. The surface became a little slushy in the warming sun, but there was never any danger of post-holing as long as we stayed on the path. |
