Comments
Comments: Trail Crampons door-to-door. The Ammo is very slushy, wet snow but trail crampons gave enough bite to get up to the hut and Mt Monroe. The Crawford Path is a river of slush, ice, and wet snow, with water flowing under the ice layer and over it all the way to the summit. I have concluded that my boots are 90% waterproof. Came down a slushy Gulfside and the Cog Access Rd, which was a first for me. Certainly faster, but pretty hideous in a post-industrial kind of way.
