| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The scrub on Glen Boulder Trail above the boulder could use some brushing in a few places. Plenty of mushy mud and sad looking bog bridges rotting into the ground on Davis Path between Iso East Trail and the summit. There is currently no sign for the spur path up to the summit. All other trails in good shape. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Hannah had a good day - a few trickier pitches on Glen Boulder Trail she took her time with, but she managed them all just fine. No water between Glen Boulder and Davis Path near the junction with Iso West Trail, and again no water after the previously mentioned junction on Davis Path until just before Hermit Lake Shelter - I brought some extra for Hannah and was very glad I did. |

| Comments: |
Finally, a good weather day on Isolation - a bit of a breeze above treeline but fantastic visibility in all directions. Made a spur of the moment decision on the way back to head a bit further north on Davis Path and head down into Tuckerman Ravine - wasn't quite ready to head down off the ridge yet, and Tuckerman Ravine Trail was easier on the knees than Glen Boulder would havae been. Boott Spur Link is very steep, but has nice views into the ravine and is over with pretty quickly. Another great early fall hike! |
