Awesome morning on the Bit T!!! Beginning of the Mt Tecumseh trail was bare, put on spikes at .80 miles in and left them on all to the summit and back down to the same point where we put them on. Typical spring conditions, and actually quite good. Some mud in the first .80 miles, but avoidable. The rest of Tecumseh Trail and Sosman Trail had mostly packed snow, some ice that was totally fine with the spikes, and some areas that were a bit soft, but not deep or super slushy. Great conditions for a quick up and down, and awesome to get the Big T for my April gird :) |
