 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of room at PNVC at 10:00. Kind of surprising. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
No problems. One of last two bridges on way out on 19-Mile Brook Tr. is 1/2 bridge 1/2 planking. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lower part of 19-Mile Brook Tr. has sections considerably washed out and some puddled water probably caused by damage to drainage. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I wouldn't trust my dogs on the Pinkham end of the Wildcat Ridge Tr.. Few ledges where some careless stepping could result in serious fall for some dogs. Not much water on ridge. |
 | Bugs: |
Hardly any! |

 | Comments: |
Great day on the Wildcats. We only saw 5 other hikers; 2 coming up D and 3 at jct. of 19-Mile and Carter Dome Trails. All trails in nice condition except for some avoidable erosion on lower part of 19-Mile Brook. Thanks to the 2 gentlemen who picked us up near the MW Autoroad and saved us many steps of roadwalking! |
