| Water Crossing Notes: |
Using the "bushwhack" (which is now more of a regular trail) to avoid the first 2 crossings was good. Third crossing easy using blowdown from Irena for support. No crossings on Gale River any more after the recent trail reroute. |

No significant blowdowns or major trail issues. Lots of mud on the whole route and particularly on the new section of Gale River. Don't expect clean boots... |

Great day with Mike and Donna as they got #36, 37 and 38 on their list. Sunny skies, cool air, foliage beginning to turn. No better place to be in the world! |
