| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Glen Ellis Falls fee parking area had plenty of room. Route 16 was still restricted to two lanes south of Glen Ellis Falls parking but the damaged lane has been repaved. It appeared some berm repair was required and then the road should be restored to normal. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Small streams easy to stride over |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in great condition. Some trimming required just uphill of Slide Peak but not a big problem. Tuckerman Ravine Trail has many new rock steps which eased the descent. There was some water on the upper portion of the Tuckerman Ravine Trail which could be a problem when the temperatures fall below freezing. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw some dogs on the trails. |

| Bugs: |
A few flying insects which caused no problem. |

| Comments: |
All of the trails were in great shape. No downed trees. No difficulty in following the paths. Many hikers and tourists out on a fine Fall day. |
