Comments
Comments: Over The Hill Hikers kicked off their 2022 hiking season today on Willard.

Avalon Trail and the bottom of Mt. Willard Trail were bare. Solid snow pack started shortly after the second brook crossing. Spikes or bare boots were both fine; our group put on spikes here and left them on until returning to this point. Snow depths were minimal. No significant ice encountered, and the ledges were bare.

A nice morning out with OTHH, but we didn't stay on top too long due to a stiff wind. Nice to see Ken and Sue out there as well.
