 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
There is a small parking area at the trailhead. Hogan Road has enormous puddles that would swallow a vehicle without high clearance whole. I would recommend parking at the intersection of Hogan Road and North Road for those vehicles. This adds a short flat road walk to the trailhead. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
No significant water crossings |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The Centennial Trail is part of the AT and is well-marked and easy to follow. There are few blowdowns around 1.5 miles from the trailhead and a couple more a bit below the junction with the Mahoosuc Trail. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
This is a dog friendly trail. Not much water that I saw after the first mile so bring some extra for your friend. |

 | Comments: |
Mellow hike with and excellent view-point of the northern Presidential Range about .3 miles past the actual summit of Mt Hayes. There are a couple of steeper sections on Centennial on being a steeper slabby section not far from the junction with the Mahoosuc Trail. Didn't see a soul today. Probably don't need traction unless conditions change which is certainly possible. |
