 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lower re-route is really nice. People are already starting to cut off some of the lower switchbacks. Little rocky up top where it diverges from the first ledge into some switchbacks, feels like the northern presi's all the rocks are pointy little a-holes. Might be time for a new sign down at the bottom, it doesn't feel like a 5.4 mile RT anymore. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Jackson and Marty had a blast today. |
|
 | Bugs: |
None. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
Found a black "swell" water bottle up near the ledges. I left it at the trailhead sign. |

Brought my cousins and KatieB out for a little midweek adventure. Coming across the Kanc there was a decent amount of snow starting around 2000 feet and I was hoping we wouldn't run into much since my cousins are on vaca and do not have spikes - turned out to be a non-issue. The ledges are really wet (running water), so you need to pay attention to your footing and stay off the slime. Above was just an inch or two of snow that didn't pose any problems and will likely be gone by tomorrow. |
