Honored to be with NandC for their 2,000 4k peak. Superb day with our new Canadian friend Marjorie and The Legend. Marjorie's 2nd 4k. Trail conditions don't get much better than we found today. Even the snow on the shortcut was supportive. The usual icy wind/no views on the summit but blue skies by the time we got back to the cars. Bare boots door to door, the only sketchy part was the open, rocky stretch of a few yards above the ramparts. Some hard ice there between the rocks. |
