Lost and Found
Lost and Found:
Comments: Great hike of these two peaks and wouldnt be April without snow showers and a few spicy wind gusts. 1st sign of recent snow appeared just above the Blueberry Ledge Cutoff. Trace amounts varying to 2 or 3" of crusty snow with a fresh light dusting of powder on top. Barebooted till 1st ledge scramble then micros until descending DM trail. between the crusty snow and softening ice the ledges were no issue. Ascending Passaconaway was much the same. It was nice crossing paths with Jared and chatting as well as two others on the trail today. This is the 2nd day of hiking with soaked boots and sealskinz socks. Feet are dry and comfortable!
