Comments
Comments: Very little snow from US 302 to Garfield Trail water crossings - this portion can be barebooted. Beyond water crossings, trail is packed, but not solid - snowshoes are the way to go. The steeps up Garfield Ridge have enough snow to permit relatively easy snowshoe use. Lots of blowdowns - remaining ones will require chainsaw or axe.
