The trail started off much like a road walk, before turning into a wide, steady-gaining path that we will certainly be coming back to ski at some point. The trail was largely comparable to the first 3 miles of the Garfield ridge trail in its steady and river-tracing manner. The trail was the perfect idea for wanting summer like conditions while still being stuck in our spring mud season. My microspikes came for the ride but there was no moment I would've needed them, given there were just two minor ice patches along the entire hike. The falls were spectacular and this is totally my new recommendation hike to people who want something more on the nature walk side that still has something awesome along the way!
