Comments
Comments: Dry ground to start and the wet spots really weren't too bad. Spikes on around 2350' just as the trail gets steeper. 1-2" of new snow on the ridge and temps were cold enough to keep the trail firm but warm enough to give the ice a little bite. A few steep sections required care on the way up. Two in our party opted to stay in their sharp spikes for the descent and two of us put crampons on.
