Parking/Access Road Notes: 2 cars when I arrived at 0700, same 2 still there when I was gearing down at 3.

Surface Conditions: Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Small Patches 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction, Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All rock-hoppable, crusty snow near water's edge gives way easily. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Numerous blow-downs on Jewell Trail, easy enough to get around. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I would not take a dog up Ammo in these conditions. Very icy, with a few spots I probably should have put my crampons on.
