Elected to hike N , putting the forecasted winds somewhat behind us.. LW is dry.. micros went on partways up Bondcliff Tr then came off just below summit.. micros went back on ascending Mt Bond then remained on till Zealand Rd
We had firm conditions all the way till ~Zealand.. then the afternoon Sun did it’s job and made conditions miserable.. the monorail is a fine line in places and postholes are deep.. still ALOT of snow up high.. our worst section was Zealand to the Hut
Bog bridges were built up so no issues around Zeacliff |
