Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Everything was rock hoppable. If you don't want to get your boots wet, a few areas require some careful foot placement.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One leaner across the trail not far below the Bald Peak Spur. It’s high enough off the trail that you can walk or duck under it easily and all its branches have been trimmed.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few pups having a great time!
Bugs
Bugs: None… yet

Comments
Comments: Great short afternoon hike. Surprisingly with the number of cars in the lot, we were the only ones on Bald Peak. If you’re looking for an ice-free and snow-free hike with beautiful views, this is it!

No major issues on the trail aside from some large patches of mud and water on the trail. With good boots, it’s easy to walk right through it all. Just below the spur for Bald Peak, there were a few patches of snow/ice, but you could mostly avoid them. Heading up to Bald Peak on the spur trail, there’s a few very small sections of ice but not difficult to manage. Barebooting over the snow and ice patches was easy and not worth spikes.
