Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Downes Brook trail is very eroded at the top but passable but at the 5th water crossing the trail disappears on the way down. It might be easier to find on the ascent. After following a stoney river bed, we crossed the brook and bushwaked until luckily we intersected the trail again. 10 water all rock hopping with dry feet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: a few small blowdowns significanr erosian on Downes Brook tidea tr. at the 5th water crossing the trail is totally gone and you have no where or if you cross on the decent. We found it only by luck and a bushwack.

Comments
Comments: An interesting way to hike Whiteface and Pasaconway. The trails are actually easier except for the mossy rocks hurricane damage. It was a beautiful day
with great temps.
