Comments
Comments: The only snow you will see on this trail is at the trailhead gate. However, there is a lot of water running over the ledges in the middle third of the trail, especially the ones that traverse to the left on the ascent. Very slick as always!! The higher ledges are mostly dry. You no longer have to do that "follow the red tape" trip thru the woods to get on the trail. Now, you just walk past the gate on the road. The lower set of switch backs is nice while the upper one is a little bit of a rock jumble. It's marked well, but not sure how much easier it is vs the old route. It was dry however.
