Comments
Comments: Reservation Rd was a little rough, but it's that time of year. North Mtn trail was actually 'drier' than I expected due to recent rains. There are still plenty of wet muddy spots for dogs to enjoy though. While this trail is blazed pretty well, there are some spots where the blazes could be closer together and the 'herd paths' brushed in. There were a couple of times in the open ledgy/meadow areas where we were off the official trail because we weren't paying attention and just followed the herd path. And I've been saying it for years, but the steep climb up from the snow mobile rd, could really, really use some erosion control. The trail keeps getting wider from folks avoiding the wobbly rocks when they are wet. all in all a good day. lots of people out. we only went to North summit, but many were continuing on to do a loop.
