Comments
Comments: I will address only the portion between the hut and North Twin summit since KP5’s report covers the Galehead piece.

It lightly snowed from about 3k feet and up starting around 10 am and was still snowing within that elevation on my descent about 2 pm. Snow gets a bit deeper the higher you ascend on Twinway towards South Twin. It went from just an inch or so of new snow over packed snow to about 4” of new snow and it was still coming down so it may be deeper. There was drifting above tree line on South Twin until beginning to descend onto North Twin Spur towards tree line. The tracks for the 3 folks ahead of me we’re about 90% covered by the time I hit South Twin at 12:25pm and all the way over to the North Twin Summit. My own tracks were about 95% covered on my return trip to South Twin between 1 pm and 1:40pm. It was still snowing as I was descending Twinway back to the hut. If you head out that way Monday, you may want snowshoes for that section about 1/2 way up Twinway towards South Twin and over to the North Twin summit.

The 3 folks ahead of me traversed and went down North Twin Trail. Hoping one of them does a report to tell us about the Little River crossing.
