Comments
Comments: Missed this weather forecast. Started out with some sun. Bear booted 1st 1-1/2 then spikes. Be prepared for water on trail lots of it. Rain started just before wilderness sign, it poured!!! Once on bushwhack sleet mixed with rain then heavy wet snow. Wack was easy to follow, there was 1 in front of me with a lite coating of snow. Many postholes seen. Went right into the trees to avoid the deep water as reported. Once 1 came out of the wack I did a gear check. I was absolutely soaked, snow coming down so I called it. Glad I did, on the way back fog & crazy snow made finding my footprints difficult at times. Had to back track & start again. Made it down but I definitely felt the cold wet day. The mountain won today
