Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are intermittent blowdowns on the Snow’s Mtn Trail, but based on the leaf trampling, of peole walking around them, it’s clear that they are not new. The only new-ish one is a stepover and is about 0.5 miles below the summit on the more northern or upper branch of the trail … and clearly someone knows because all of the little limbs are neatly cut off. Thank you!

Comments
Comments: My dog, Willow, and I hiked a loop of Snow’s Mtn Trail (counterclockwise), including Greeley Ledge and Elephant Rock trails, and then the lower part of Cascade Path. We were so happy to see mud and leaves, and even dry trail! Ice and snow started at 2200’ and I pulled on my dull old microspikes at 2500’. The ice is soft, from the warm temperatures, so it wasn’t hard to get traction, even with dull spikes. We have hiked most of this route before and really like it quite a lot!
