Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 4-5 major blow downs on Flume and Libery Springs but easy to get around.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw two nice dogs having a blast. Good conditions for dogs!
Bugs: none
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I found a nice gaiter on the decent coming down Liberty Springs -- about 2/3 way down. I hung it up on the trail head sign in the parking lot.
Comments: Suprizingly nice day given the forecast. 28 at the start and 52 at the finish at 1:30PM. Trails are very manageable except the notorious Flume Slide accent which was OK with crampons in the trees with poles. Ridge was suprizing good shape with micro's. Used crampons for the first 1/4 of the decent on Liberty Springs because I'm old and don't fall well :-). Beautiful day...
